Description

Vortex Liqui-Coat is a high-quality acrylic waterproofing system designed to act as a saturator, sealer, and protective topcoat when used with a reinforcing polyester fabric membrane. It forms a durable, flexible, and watertight barrier that prevents water ingress while protecting structures from long-term damage.

Engineered for challenging waterproofing areas, Liqui-Coat is ideal where traditional systems may struggle, delivering reliable performance on roofs, parapets, masonry walls, and areas prone to leaks such as cracks and joints.

Application Method

Primer Coat

• Apply Vortex Primer & Sealer or Bonding Liquid
• Coverage: 8–10 m²/L per coat
• Allow to dry 1–1.5 hours @ ±23°C
• Apply first coat while surface is slightly tacky

Waterproofing Coats & Membrane

• Apply 2 or more coats of Vortex Liqui-Coat
• Spreading rate: 1.5 – 2 L/m²
• Allow ±4 hours drying time between coats @ 23°C
• Embed polyester fabric membrane between coats for reinforcement
• Apply using spray or trowel for uniform film thickness

System Coverage

• Approx. 2.5 L/m² total system
  (Depending on substrate and porosity)

Roof Application Note

• Ensure minimum 2–4° slope
• Prevent water pooling by maintaining proper drainage
